Ad perennem scientiam conquirendam.
Hayser F. (1900). Ophelia [painting].
Hello, welcome to my website. After many years of ruminating on my thoughts and cultivating research on various subjects, I have finally decided to make a space of my own to share everything I have learned. Because I believe that knowledge is one of the only things another cannot take from you, this project would be considered one of my largest and most passionate ones up to this date. My articles will mainly pertain to topics that I harbour an interest in. I will do my utmost best to keep any personal biases out of my research, though I do plan on writing some opinionated articles on occasion. Requests for subjects will also be welcome, as is constructive criticism.
To me, there has always been this charm in writing articles and doing research. Thus, I came to the realization that I could do all that, and more – even sharing it with others – with a personal website. You may call this a passion project of sorts, something that I am doing both for my personal fulfillment and for the further expansion of knowledge in others. Both bring me great joy. There is not a lot to say about myself. I was born in Hong Kong but moved to Canada at an early age. I lived a privileged life with my parents, who adored me and loved me unconditionally. Despite that, I could not help but notice the sufferings and strife around me, which gave me an interest in exploring more about philosophy and ethics. History is also a subject I am deeply interested in – the cause and effect of events, the manuscripts, everything. I have decided to dedicate much of my time to improve and cultivate this website...please enjoy.
My essays will be highlighted in green, my articles will be highlighted in blue, and other resources will be highlighted in red.
